Let me introduce to you the 21 commonly used stainless steel pipes and their differences from the most commonly used 304 stainless steel pipes.
1. SUS304 stainless steel pipe;
2. SUS304 stainless steel pipe is equivalent to China’s 0Cr19Ni9 stainless steel pipe;
3. 201 series - chromium-nickel-manganese austenitic stainless steel pipe;
4. 300 series—chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel pipe;
5. 301—good ductility, good weldability, wear resistance and fatigue strength better than 304 stainless steel pipe;
6. 302—The corrosion resistance is the same as 304, but the strength is better;
7. 303—Easier to cut than 304;
8. 309—has better temperature resistance than 304;
9. 316 - Mainly used in the food industry and surgical equipment; because it has better resistance to chloride corrosion than 304, it is also used as "marine steel";
10. Model 321—In addition to reducing the risk of material weld corrosion, other properties are similar to 304;
11. 400 series—ferritic and martensitic stainless steel pipe;
12. 408—Good heat resistance, weak corrosion resistance
13. 409—usually used as automobile exhaust pipe;
14. 410—Martensite (high-strength chromium steel), good wear resistance, poor corrosion resistance;
15, 416—The addition of sulfur improves the processing properties of the material;
16. 420 - "Blade grade" martensitic steel, used for surgical knives, which can be made very bright;
17. 430—ferritic stainless steel pipe, for decoration;
18. 440—High-strength cutting tool steel;
19. 500 series—heat-resistant chromium alloy steel;
20. 600 series—martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel pipe;
21. 630—The most commonly used precipitation-hardened stainless steel pipe model.
